Morning, all. Today I’m thinking, ‘is it normal to start my morning pulling out a batch of salted caramel to make ice cream sandwiches?” If this is what my new, ice cream obsession involves, I’m okay with it. Nothing like licking my fingers for drips of caramel between sips of coffee and conference calls. Tonight’s holiday party is a big deal – four environmental organizations compete in a very serious baking contest. And what contest judge wouldn’t want an ice cream sandwich? I used Martha Stewart’s sugar cookie recipe and Jeni’s salted caramel recipe. I’ll update soon on the contest results.
